What Material Grade Is Your Aluminium?

All our Aluminium products are 6063 Grade Aluminium. 6063 is an aluminium alloy, with magnesium and silicon as the alloying elements. It has generally good mechanical properties and is heat treatable and weldable. 6063 is the most common alloy used for aluminium extrusion. It allows complex shapes to be formed with very smooth surfaces.

Our Aluminium bends are highly polished with a 'mirror' finish which give great aesthetics in any engine bay or alternate application.

What Grade Are Your Stainless Steel Pipes?

Exhaust bends are manufactured from high quality 304 grade stainless steel which are mandrel bent allowing for unrestricted smooth flow. These pipes are mainly used for performance exhaust systems and can also be used in intercooler systems as an alloy alternative. The bends can be welded by using MIG or for detailed work use TIG which can be polished for a seamless look. 304 stainless steel is the most common form of stainless steel used around the world due to excellent corrosion resistance and value. 304 can withstand corrosion from most oxidizing acid.

It is a highly heat-resistant grade, and offers good corrosion resistance to many chemical corrodents, as well as industrial atmospheres.

Yes all our aluminium elbows and joiners have beaded / rolled ends at each end. Roll beaded ends for best hose retention.
